Daniel Barber
Daniel is a teacher, trainer and writer based in Cádiz, Spain. He has taught for 30 years, in Mexico, the UK and Spain. He’s an all-terrain teacher, having worked with young learners, teens and adults, general and business English, exam preparation and specialist courses.
He trains teachers in a variety of settings, both formal courses and ongoing teacher development programmes, face-to-face and online. He also writes teaching materials for publishers including National Geographic Learning and Macmillan.
He is a founding member of ELT Footprint, a grassroots organisation working to address the climate emergency within the profession.
Pepy Frytzala
Pepy is a graduate of the Faculty of Translation of the Ionian University.
She also has a BSc in Marketing and Management from the American College of Greece and an MA in TEFL/TESL from the University of Birmingham.
She has been teaching since 1995, both in language schools and private colleges.
She also taught in the Presessional Programme of the University of Liverpool for 5 years.
Her specialization is ESP/EAP, as well as teacher training.
Dimitris Primalis
Dimitris Primalis is an experienced English Language Teacher and Teacher Trainer with over 30 years of teaching experience.
He currently coordinates the primary and bilingual kindergarten English programs at Doukas School in Athens, Greece. Dimitrios is also a freelance teacher trainer, working with various institutions and companies, including Burlington Books and Webster University.
He has authored several English language test books for Macmillan and contributed to TOEFL practice materials. As a Microsoft Innovative Educator Fellow and Expert, he has managed projects like “Innovation and Best Teaching Practices Days” and has shared his insights with the local and global educator community. His key skills include strong interpersonal and communication abilities, leadership, problem-solving, and creative thinking.
Dimitrios holds an M.A. in Education from Derby University and a Diploma for Overseas Teachers of English from the University of Cambridge.
Katherine Reilly
Katherine Reilly holds a BA in English Language and Literature and has authored numerous publications in children’s literature, teaching materials and ICT.
She has taught Language Methodology and Materials Development at the University of Athens and serves as an oral examiner in language assessment.
Katherine instructs learners of all ages at private and public educational institutions in Athens, Greece. Her expertise includes training school faculties in inclusive teaching methodology, diverse educational materials adaptation, and the application of Critical Discourse Analysis (CDA) to examine socio-cultural dimensions.
Katherine has contributed to the field as a voiceover artist for various ELT publishers and as a regular contributor to ELT NEWS magazine.
Maria-Araxi Sachpazian
Ms Maria-Araxi Sachpazian holds a BA in Education and an RSA DOTE dip/TEFL (3 hons).
She has been teaching in different fields of EFL for 30 years. She is a lecturer at CITY College, the Europe Campus of the University of York and the owner of Input on Education, a consultancy firm for Foreign Language Schools.
Maria is a great believe in Teachers’ Associations, so she’s heavily involved with the running of TESOL Macedonia-Thrace Northern Greece and the current Secretary to the Board of Trustees of IATEFL.
Faye Sotiriou
A professional Educational Coach training teachers on multiple levels and an Academic EFL Teacher with a demonstrated 25 year-history of working in multilingual educational backgrounds – on line and within a classroom environment.
An internationally Certified Educational Coach (CEC) and an Accredited Leader-Coach in Women Empowerment. Teaching Life Coaching in the Kapodistrian University of Athens and a Mentor in Women On Top Organization and empowering programs, designs her own (online) seminars/ workshops on soft skills, excellence in teaching, goal setting.
Skilled in employing coaching tools aiming at communicative student-centered approaches, in strategic planning, designing academic courses (Academic Writing – Public Speaking & Business Communication) and programs, empowering adults/students, and experienced in educational management.
Holder of an MA in American Literature and Language -Gender Studies from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, in Greece with high honors.
Maria Stefanidou
Maria Stefanidou is a DELTA qualified English teacher with extensive experience in EFL contexts and private language institutions, where she has also served as a coordinator and mentor.
She is an oral examiner and a freelance teacher trainer, working mostly with Cambridge University Press. Her academic background in Sociology has given her a unique perspective on the social aspects of language acquisition and enriched her teaching methods and presentations.
Maria’s journey through language education is marked by her commitment to personal growth and professional development, therefore she primarily identifies herself as a lifelong learner.
