Modules
This module delves into specific learning difficulties (SLDs) commonly encountered in EFL classrooms, including dyslexia, dyscalculia, dysgraphia, ADHD. It provides educators with in-depth knowledge about these conditions, equipping them with the knowledge to identify, support, and differentiate instruction for students with SLDs.
This module offers a comprehensive overview of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). It combines synchronous workshops with self-paced asynchronous learning to provide a well-rounded understanding of ASD. Participants will learn about the definition, symptoms, and behaviours of learners with ASD, as well as strategies for engaging students with ASD in the learning environment. Additionally, the module includes online resources and interactive activities to support further learning and exploration of different learning difficulties.
This module empowers educators to create welcoming and supportive learning environments for all learners. It explores Universal Design for Learning (UDL) principles, providing strategies to cater to diverse needs and learning styles. Participants will discover online resources and tools for implementing UDL, gain insights from successful inclusive classrooms, and engage in self-reflection on their own practices.
This module equips educators with practical strategies to support students with learning difficulties. It explores multisensory teaching methods, utilising various senses to enhance engagement and learning. Participants access online tutorials and demonstrations, engage in hands-on activities with assistive technology, and collaborate on making individualised learning plans.
This module equips educators with diverse formative and summative assessment techniques for all learners, including those with learning difficulties. Participants will explore adapting assessments, self-paced learning, online resources, case studies, and self-reflection to enhance assessment practices.

Tyna Constantopoulou
Teacher Trainer
MEd in Special Education
Tyna Constantopoulou is an experienced professional in the ELT field, having worked in LTOs, public schools, and as a freelance educator for 15 years. Tyna holds a BA in English Language and Literature and a MEd in Special Education (Hons).
Recently, she lectured on inclusive syllabus design at Level 7 with Staffordshire University. Tyna is an advocate for equitable learning opportunities and classroom diversity, presenting for organisations such as IATEFL Poland, ATECR, EdYOUfest, and LERC. As a keynote and plenary speaker, she has contributed to ELT News, ISTAR, IAELT, and TESOL Greece. Tyna has also trained teachers with Palso, Oxford University Press, and Metamathesis.
Passionate about inclusive pedagogy, learning difficulties, and layered academic interventions, Tyna has received further expertise from the University of Athens, the University of Patras, and the Aegean University.
Her accolades include awards in Innovation and Research in Education, Supporting Special Educational Needs Students, and promoting World Peace.
Dimitris Kouniakis
TESOL / TEFL educator
Specialised in SEN
Dimitris has been a TESOL/ TEFL educator, and DOS at “MELLON” EFL for over 20 years, he holds an MA in TESOL from Staffordshire University and has specialised in SEN (University of the Aegean & the University of Patras).
He has introduced, implemented and promoted many innovative approaches, methodologies and interventions in the Greek ELT market.
He was the Teacher Trainer for the Erasmus Plus KA2+ project TuDOrs – Turning the Learning Disabilities into Opportunities.
Dimitris’ extensive experience includes delivering teacher training workshops and speeches on language school management as well as the promotion and development of “Soft Skills” through gamification across the country and abroad (EdYOUfest- IPE Athens – TESOL Greece- The Study Rooms – FLF). He has also published several articles in national and international journals and blogs.
He has been a core team member of TEDx Patras since 2015.
